  • New Orleans Community Printshop & Darkroom

New Orleans Community Printshop is a collectively-run nonprofit community art space specializing in printmaking and black and white darkroom photography.

They provide access to arts processes that typically would be out of reach due to space requirements and expensive materials/equipment. Together, they create a space, supported by the community that uses our tools, that exceeds any of our individual efforts.

Anyone can screenprint or use the darkroom at an affordable rate! Find out more on their website nolacommunityprintshop.org

  • John Fitzgerld

John Fitzgerald runs a letterpress print shop out of his space at Court 13. John has been printing for pleasure, business and artistic expression since childhood. As digital technology changed everything in commercial printing, John took a step back in time to re-create the old and irreplaceable ways of fine printing. In addition to custom letterpress printing, John creates fine art prints combining linoleum cuts and type. His work can be seen every day at the Dutch Alley Artists' Co-op in the French Quarter (one block down from Café Du Monde).
